• How your hot water is being used: If you have overlapping demands when it comes to your hot water use (meaning if multiple people in your home are showering back-to-back or if you are running the dishwasher while someone is taking a shower) you will need either a larger water heater tank or a tankless unit with a higher flow rate so that these hot water demands can be met.
